The Le Roy Farmers' Market opens for its fourth season in June 2011. Sponsored by the Village of Le Roy, it is located in western New York, mid-way between Buffalo and Rochester, N.Y. Local vendors meet Saturday mornings from 8:30 -12:30 in the Bank Street parking lot behind McDonald's.
The market features locally grown and made products, vegetables and fruit from area farms. The market's aim is to offer locally grown and produced products in a family-friendly atmosphere that promotes the area farm industry.
The market regularly includes a cooking demonstration, a community booth featuring a local non-profit organization, craft demonstrations, a newsletter for vendors and live music.
The market participates in the NYS Farmer’s Market Nutrition Programs, including WIC.
The market is managed by a group of volunteers, with a Market Manager on site every Saturday. Shopper input is welcomed at the market. Please feel free to contact us at LeRoyFarmersMarket@gmail.com with any comments, questions or ideas you might have regarding the market.
